This completely screws up Minecraft’s Block updates….Torches get stuff, Water stays in one spot and does not move(Same with Lava). Chunk updates are very glitchy also. I have tested on FTB DireWolf20′s pack and Also on a vanilla MC install.

I wish there was a way to control the Better Grass/Snow. I don’t like the version included in this mod, but it overrides any other that I install. I don’t want grass/snow blocks to never use the default side, only when the next block down is also grass/snow. It looks odd when the next block down is dirt or something else…

Can’t seem to make it work. The only way I could update to 1.5 was by changing minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip. If I now change it back to minecraft.jar, delete meta.inf, and copy all .class files, I see no difference when I click on options. It’s all default.
Please, I need more detailed instructions. After I have upgraded to 1.5 from 1.4.7 I have a minecraft.zip file and a minecraft.jar file. The .jar file is empty. I suppose I could try putting your .class files in there, but the meta-inf file and all the 1.4.7 .class files are in the minecraft.zip file.

    You should:
    1.delete META-INF
2.download and install forge (drag all files in minecraft jar)
3.download and install optifine (the link for download is between the 3 ads)
    4.start minecraft and test.
