  • Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT, would that be the speculations if I want to play on the LOWEST possible graphics. More specifically would the 9500GT be able to handle dota 2 on lowest qualtiy.

ppl upgrade your pc’s. if it is still a Pentium 4 its still like the older one or the dota. that’s why its called dotA 2 because of the new features, graphics, gameplay, etc. higher requirements the better it’ll be. they said that “dotA 2 represents the long term future for the game”. so you ppl better use a “FUTURE COMPUTER” too.

  • Mutasim commented on November 9, 2010 at 6:08 pm

I have 256 mb VGA 2 GB ram and 1.7 dual core i think i can run on lowest! since its the recommended Spec’s

  • Time to upgrade your computer guys… as technology improves, games improve too. Btw you guys can probably build a nice $300-400 dollar and play with above requirements fine

    • tushi commented on August 21, 2011 at 3:07 pm

can my computer use agp of video card?

  • anonymous commented on December 20, 2010 at 2:26 am

What is the equivalent of a Intel Dual Core 2.26 GHz?
cause my pc has a AMD Athlon II Dual-Core P320 2.1G, will that run it?

  • plsss make the proceesor lower it wont wont work on my laptop :(( my laptop has everything more just the procesot plss make it lower

  • the system requirements was not revealed by valve. icefrog said that dota 2 will support older pc’s and lan center pc’s, but also newer computer will scale well.

i expect a big difference between minimum and recommended sysreq. in my experience (big gamer) minimum sysreq will be :

    pentium 4 : 2.2Ghz
    Vga : geforce 5500 /ati radeon 9600
    Ram : 512
    hdd : 800 mb

i doubt that dota 2 will score big. most dota players with high end computers already switched to hon or lol. and no one is gonna pay 1k usd just to play dota 2. most of the people here are annoying kids who have useless comps and cant support dota 2, because the rest are all in hon and lol

  • Justinijan commented on June 13, 2011 at 2:29 pm

only 1 GB RAM??? why a game like this will need only 1 GB RAM and not 3GB like the other who have good grafics.i don’t know why but it pretty much low for me.

you guys are really keeping a low profile… you will never expand ur horizons on this game if your pc sucks asss… get a rig and i say a “gaming” rig… thats just on mid budget these days… i speculate that poverty is an adverse but each of us has its own feet and will to grasp what we want… life isnt easy and everything else lies on an equilibrium… but spending something worth it is a peace of mind.
